CryptosHub Review Methodology

Published: 2 July 2026Last updated: 2 July 2026

This page explains how CryptosHub reviews wallets, exchanges and swap platforms. The goal is not to crown a permanent winner. The goal is to help readers understand what to check before they use a product.

What we check for wallets

  • Custody model: self-custody, hardware wallet, hot wallet or custodial account.
  • Supported coins and networks, especially USDT networks where mistakes are common.
  • Seed phrase and backup flow, including beginner risk points.
  • Device or app setup difficulty.
  • Phishing, fake app and recovery risks.

What we check for exchanges

  • Country availability and KYC requirements where public information is available.
  • Deposit and withdrawal methods.
  • Fee and spread clarity. We avoid unsupported exact fee claims when current data is not verified.
  • Custody risk: exchanges control private keys while funds are on-platform.
  • Beginner difficulty, app clarity and support/documentation quality.

What we check for swap platforms

  • Public swap flow up to the point where funds would be sent.
  • Fixed versus floating quote behavior where visible.
  • KYC risk language, including checks triggered by amount, route, region or provider policy.
  • Supported assets and networks listed at the time of review.
  • Refund address, minimum amount, failed transaction and quote-change warnings.
  • Fiat buy/sell provider routes when a swap platform includes them.

What “checked” means

When a review says we checked a product, it means we reviewed the public product flow, visible screens, official help pages, current interface notes and comparison criteria available at the time. It does not mean we sent funds, contacted support, verified every country or tested every coin unless the page says that directly.

Ranking factors

  • Fees, spreads and whether the final quote is clear.
  • KYC and regional risk.
  • Supported assets and networks.
  • Security model and custody risk.
  • Beginner difficulty and error risk.
  • Deposit, withdrawal and refund risks.
  • Support and documentation clarity.

Editorial and commercial separation

Some pages include internal /go/brand links. Rankings remain editorial and must include drawbacks, risk notes and safer alternatives when relevant. We do not claim guaranteed bonuses, best rates or risk-free products unless that is explicitly verified from official terms, and crypto products are not risk-free.

Last checked and updates

Review pages may show a “Last checked” note. That date refers to the last meaningful review of product flow, risk notes, available screenshots, fee wording or comparison criteria. We update pages when product details, fee disclosures, KYC wording, available routes, screenshots, rankings or risk notes meaningfully change.

Limits of our reviews

Crypto products change quickly. Supported assets, country availability, provider routes, KYC triggers and fees can change after publication. Treat each review as a decision aid, then check the official product screen before sending funds or signing up.
